Two centenary baobabs welcome you to Suricata Boma Lodge. We are strategically located between major national parks, with stunning sunset views (you will not want to miss) of the Rift Valley. The hotel is environmentally friendly. The placement of buildings on the land, their architecture, interior design and chosen local materials are perfectly integrated with the surroundings. Our buildings evolve respectfully around the baobabs.

Our interior design is a declaration of our love for Tanzania. All our objects with soul are handcrafted using local materials and techniques by artisans. We believe luxury and simplicity are inseparable. Staying local is a way of showing you, our history.

Suricata Boma Lodge is a barrier-free hotel. All our buildings (main building, spa, pool bar and pool itself) are accessible by ramps. We provide inclusive landscape design and accessible toilets in all buildings. We have one accessible bungalow.

Each bungalow «represents» a wild animal. Our twelve spacious bungalows are fully equipped to your comfort (wireless internet, AC, minibar, electric kettle, hairdryer, telephone for room service, cotton robes). All bungalows count with a private garden with Lake Manyara view.

FARM-TO-TABLE CUISINE

Our menus celebrate local plantations. Our ingredients are organic and come from up close. We would love for you to farm at our Boma Farm or join a trip to a nearby town to buy ingredients and spices from the local people. All food is prepared moments before serving, as you sip on a cocktail, enjoying panoramic views of baobab trees and Lake Manyara.

RELAXATION & SELF-CARE AT CHELEWA SPA

At Chelewa Spa, overlooking the lake, we offer massages and local treatments for the body, face and nails.

If you want to celebrate a group massage ritual or for a special occasion (like your wedding day in Boma) we have the possibility of integrating the three massage rooms and their bathtubs. It will be an unforgettable moment!
